What are the biggest challenges you face as a Mixed Martial Artist? Skills? Cardio? Motivation? These are the same challenges everyone faces. You learn new skills but the subtle details are forgotten over time. You find yourself relying on the same moves over and over and your opponents pick you apart. Maybe your brain knows exactly what to do but your body just doesn't have the gas. Are you regretting your eating and exercise habits when you crash out in the later rounds at practice? Or is the greatest monster you face your own lack of motivation or fear or not being good enough? Look, we've all been there and everyone has their own little voice in their heads feeding them negativity. This is the tool to shut that little voice up for good.

You took notes in school or at your office, don't you think you should take notes in the gym? That's right smarty pants. You think you can remember every little nuance of every move you've ever been shown? Of course not. Write it down in your MMA Training Journal. There's a space for notes or doodles or however you work best. There's a spot to remind you where the technique is best applied and another to rate your own confidence with the technique just in case that move isn't really working for you. We've even included an MMA shorthand notation system that will help you quickly write notes for any combat sport if you want to be a super geeky MMA nerd (don't worry, we won't tell anyone).

Need more cardio? How about a better diet? Need to drop weight or just watch your nutrition? Nothing like having it on your personal training to-do list to track your health and nutrition every day of the week. Everyone knows that it is much easier to commit to undesirable tasks when they are written on a schedule. And watching your eating habits is easier if you write your intake down. Carve time out of your week. Manage your body composition. Set your short, medium and long-term nutrition and training goals - and actually watch yourself meet them! Rate your weekly acheivements and watch your progress. Soon you'll find yourself with the energy and motivation you need to make it through those final few minutes, those last rounds or just the difficult days that you really wanted to skip training.

How many times have you said to yourself, "I need to work on the holes in my game"? The MMA Training Journal is meant to help you do just that. Everyone has at least one part of their game that needs to be worked on, sometimes it is difficult to figure out. Every time your roll or spar with an opponent you can track how you did. Review each win and loss and work on improving your game. Track by opponent, win or loss method, even by which martial art you're training in for each match. We have you covered.

The MMA Training Journal is designed to be great for beginners yet flexible enough for serious MMA fighters who train multiple times per day. We have worked hard to bring you an essential tool that will be just as valuable as the rest of the stuff in your gym bag. But it isn't exclusively for MMA. The MMA Training Journal is also just as useful even if you exclusively train BJJ, Muay Thai, Wrestling, or any other art. We want you to succeed because we want the all of the combat sports to continue to grow. Why? Because we train and we're fight fans too.

Make the MMA Training Journal part of your essential gear and step your game up to the next level.
